Switch the multimeter on, to ‘dc voltage’ mode. Your multimeter confirmed the indicated resistance. There should be four pins.

This Will Allow More Air To Enter The Engine.


Attach the testing lines to the connectors or cables on the heater’s supply and ground connectors. Give the car approximately twenty minutes to obtain the optimal temperatures. This confirms that the upstream (bank 1 sensor 1) o2 sensor's heater element is fried.

Locate The Heater Circuit On The 02 Sensor.


In order for the sensor to function, it must be above 600 degrees. Multimeter o2 sensor wiring diagram wire cutter/stripper. Back probe the oxygen sensor heater’s hot and ground wire.
