This is not the first time the galaxy s10 proximity sensor has been in the limelight. It was unveiled during a press event on february 20, 2019, they are scheduled to be begin shipping on march 8, 2019. It operates properly while the user is on a phone call, but when they place the phone in their pocket, for instance, it doesn’t prevent the phone from waking.
The Proximity Sensor Is Supposed To Work With These Settings To Detect If It Is In A Pocket Or Pressed Against Something And Prevent The Wake Up Of The Screen.
