Reliance Hot Water Heater Pilot Won't Stay Lit. I have a reliance 606 natural gas water heater that's 10 yrs old. I have replaced the pilot/thermocoupler kit and controller sent by reliance.
I usually have to relight it three times a day. Replaced with brand new thermocouple of the exact same type, and still won't stay on. It likely is but in case it's not, bend it gently so that it is.
